A good mattress is the foundation of every good night – but which mattress suits you? At Nordsleeps you’ll find all mattresses in one place: our own Nordsleeps mattresses, the complete Emma collection and premium brands such as Tempur, M line and Auping. That way you compare fairly, on specifications and price.
Pocket springs, hybrid or memory foam?
Choose a pocket spring or hybrid mattress if you like ventilation and bounce: each spring responds independently, so your shoulders are cushioned more softly and your hips are supported more firmly. Our Freya (34 cm, 7 zones, pillow top) and Elin (33 cm, high spring density) are strong examples. Prefer an enveloping, pressure-relieving feel? Then choose a memory foam mattress such as the Nova – the gel memory foam draws away heat so you don’t wake up hot. Warm sleepers should also look at the Frida with active gel cooling.
Which mattress size do I need?
Almost all our mattresses are available from 80x200 cm (single) to 200x200 cm (extra-wide double). Sleeping together? Choose at least 160x200 cm; if you toss and turn a lot or have the space, 180x200 or 200x200 sleeps noticeably more peacefully. Unsure about firmness? Medium suits most sleepers; pay particular attention to your weight and sleeping position.
